From a grandmother's kitchen table to a global movement empowering women and gender-diverse individuals worldwide.
From Istanbul to Luxembourg
I was born in Istanbul, Turkey, a city full of life, color, and contrasts. At 13 years old, I moved to Luxembourg — a completely new world. New language, new culture, new challenges.
I am now 19 years old. Those six years taught me what it means to be different, to start over, to fight for belonging while staying true to who I am.
I volunteered at animal shelters, women's shelters, and community centers. I saw firsthand the struggles women face — especially immigrant women, women without language skills, women without support systems.
I realized: we need a space where women can be heard, supported, and empowered — no matter where they're from or what language they speak.
Born in Istanbul 🇹🇷
Grew up in a vibrant, multicultural city where tradition meets modernity. Witnessed the challenges women face in Turkish society.
Moved to Luxembourg at 13 🇱🇺
Started a new life in a new country. Learned new languages, adapted to a new culture, and discovered my passion for helping others navigate change.
Now 19: Building SheCan 💪
Creating a global platform where women support each other, learn together, and build the lives they deserve. SheCan officially launches on January 21, 2026.
